This year, we will continue our Free Reading every Period 5 for ten minutes. This means EVERYONE from Years 7-10 and staff will read for pleasure in this time. Imagine just how much reading you can get done in a week?

Please come into the library and see what we have on offer. You are welcome to choose from our fiction or our non-fiction (we have an excellent range of biographies and autobiographies).

Stuck for a book? See your friendly library staff or use one of the websites that suggest books for you.

Whatever you do, just READ!!!

What's New in Apps?

App of the Week: OverDrive

Platform: iPhone, iPad, iPod
Cost: Free

This app enables you to download and read e-books  from libraries such as our local Richmond Tweed Library if you are a member.

The app itself is easy.  When you open it up you see a list of the books you have checked out.  You can click on a book and start reading.

The table of contents is full of links,  so you can easily navigate to the beginning of any chapter. Turning the page is just a swipe to the left.  You can bookmark a page by touching the top right corner and save multiple bookmarks for finding passages easily later.  When you open OverDrive again, after closing it in the middle of a book,  it opens back up to the page where you left off.
